One of the most time consuming things you’ll do in Stardew Valley is clearing your farm. The initial clearing can take you actual full years in game, or at least a few seasons and without the golden clock you’re going to need to clear areas often. Thankfully, there are modders out there who are creating things like the tractor mod that will allow you to clear giant areas quickly without much fuss.
What is the Tractor Mod?
The tractor mod is a very simple mod for Stardew Valley where your character will go visit Robin and get a tractor garage and then be able to drive around their farm on a tractor. Why is this cool? Well, it does a whole bunch of things while it is being used.
Depending on the tool you currently have enabled you’ll be able to get giant groups of things done. For example, if you have your hoe enabled you’ll be able to till the land while also clearing weeds and digging up artifact spots.
Having your pickaxe enabled will break all rocks that are around, clear the weeds and get rid of any dead crops. If you have your scythe enabled you’ll be able to harvest all of your crops so quickly! It really cuts your hard work in the game in half.

The tractor mod was uploaded by a user on Nexus Mods named Pathoschild who’s real name is Jesse. This creator is a Canadian mod creator who has not uploaded any other information about themselves to their Nexus profile. How to Get a Tractor Garage on Your Farm
Once you have this mod installed properly and launch your game, you’ll immediately want to go and get yourself a tractor on your farm. Well, how do you do that? You go visit Robin of course!
Head to the mountains and go take a visit to Robin’s shop and get her to build you a Tractor Garage. However, this is an expensive building both in gold and in resources. You’ll need to have 150,000g to purchase this as well as the following items:
- 20 Iron Bars
- 5 Iridium Bars
- 5 Battery Packs
To get iron bars you’ll need to smelt together 5 iron ores and 1 coal, both of which you can find easily in the regular mines. To get iridium bars you’ll need to smelt together 5 iridium ores and 1 coal, coal can be purchased from Clint or found in both the regular mines and Skull Cavern and you’ll find iridium easiest in the Skull Cavern mines. Finally, you’ll need 5 battery packs which can be found by putting lighting rods on your farm and waiting for a thunderstorm.
Once you have these items and head over to Robin’s home you’ll be able to get her to build one and place it on your farm, then wait a day or two and you’ll be able to use your tractor.

With every mod comes requirements and sometimes even other mods you must have to be able to use them. If you really wish to use the tractor mod in Stardew Valley you will need to have the SMAPI – Stardew Modding API mod that is required to launch the game with mods.
